Friday evening at the AML conference, we honored modern pioneer, Carol Lynn Pearson. Carol Lynn’s work in poetry, drama, film, feminism, the feminine divine, etc has been fundamental in reshaping the boundaries of what it means to be a Latter-day Saint.
As part of honoring her with our Lifetime Achievement Award, the AML held this panel, moderated by Rachel Hunt Steenblik and featuring Kathryn Pritchett, Joanna Brooks (who was not present, but whose tribute was read by Rachel), Kathleen Peterson, and Bob Rees. The panel was followed with a reading by the honoree.
Special thanks to Paris Fox who recorded the session.
Congratulations to a fabulous author, all-around woman and friend! Well-deserving of this award! You’ve been an icon, “Blossom!” Thank you! (Marilyn Brown)
