#MoLit Most Recommended Works: Send in your nominations!

This year, the Association for Mormon Letters is compiling a list of the 100 Most Highly Recommended #MoLit Works, prior to our annual meeting in May. For the purposes of this list we are defining Mormon Literature broadly as fiction, poetry, drama, or literary nonfiction that is by, for, or about Mormons.

As part of this process, we are asking members of the public to nominate works they think should appear on the list, using this form:  https://forms.gle/brp2f1nQ3MhXEAC28

Would you be willing to recommend a few books and other works for consideration?

If you’re feeling hesitant to share, please read on:

Even if you haven’t read many books that fit the category of Mormon Literature, we would love to hear from you. (It’s helpful to us to know which books are the most popular or commonly read.)

Even if you think that someone else has probably already nominated the books you have read, we would still like to hear from you. (If a book has been nominated once or ten times, that is useful information for us.)

Even if you think the books that you like are too unpopular or obscure to make the final list, we would still like to hear from you. We want to cast as wide a net as possible. (And even though the AML is starting with this list of 100, we are also planning on issuing a number of shorter, more specialized lists, so even if a book doesn’t make the list of 100, it will still help us as we prepare other lists.)

So again, here’s the link, please tell us what you recommend: https://forms.gle/brp2f1nQ3MhXEAC28

Sincerely,

The Association for Mormon Letters Booklist Committee

  1. I have written and recently published a unique last-day fiction trilogy called The Course of Fate, based on Latter-day Saint scriptural prophecies. I am asking you to consider reviewing either the series or the first book in the series. I would provide either the soft cover or Kindle version for your review. Here is the Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JLYNRCT
You can also find out more information about this series as well as about my other writings on my website. Thanks for your consideration!
