It’s a new year, and that means a new set of contests (and a class) through Everyday Mormon Writer. We’ll be holding a second Mormon Lit Blitz, a master class devoted to issues in Mormon writing, and a contest for work that uses scripture in interesting ways.
Hope you’ll join us for one or more of this year’s events.
James, when I try to go to your link it says the site is unsafe.
Same here.
James:
I don’t know how familiar you are with web stuff, but here is the place to start when Google flags your site as malware.
Looking at the source code, I see a javascript insertion and then some facebook sdk code that could be legit, but both raise red flags for what one would normally see on a page created via WordPress. Although it’s possible that both could be tied into your WP theme.
Get well soon.
Thanks for letting me know.
I thought the problem was an impressively large backlog of unmoderated spam comments from during my trip to India and subsequent illness–but it may be something else. Working on it.
For what it’s worth, a virus detection program on my computer listed your site as blocked for the virus “Blackhole Exploit Kit.” I’m pretty much lacking in all technical savvy, but it might help to have a name for the malware that seems to be hiding somewhere on your site. Good luck! Hope to actually read about the contests soon!
In the meanwhile, would it be at all possible or appropriate to post the information/announcements here?
On March 15 I could enter your web site, and now that it is April I’m receiving the sit unsafe and every browser I tried gave me a sit unsafe warning and wouldn’t let me in. How will this effect the contest deadline for April 27, 2013?
