The final 2019 issue of El Pregonero de Deseret is now riding the waves of cyberspace. Issue 2.4 marks a successful two-year run, and the Cofradía de Letras Mormonas is already working on the first issue of 2020.
This latest issue includes the following:
- An editorial which echoes the calls of Orson F. Whitney and Spencer W. Kimball.
- An author spotlight of Mexican poet Citlalli H. Xochitiotzin.
- Five poems: three that focus on womanhood, one that is as-of-yet unpublished about the War in Heaven, and one about Christmas (this is the October through Dececember issue, after all).
- A reprinting of a short story that received an Honorable Mention in the Around the World in Mormon Lit contest titled “Anexo documental I.”
- A piece about the Center for Latter-day Saint Art.
- An short essay on writing literature.
