The AML & Genre in 2023: conference reminder and new Irreantum special issue deadline

A reminder that proposals for the April 29, 2023, AML conference on genre are due February 15. If you have any questions or want feedback on ideas, please email me at william@motleyvision.org. Presentation and panel ideas can be submitted using this Google form.

Irreantum submissions now due March 15

In addition, submissions to the special Irreantum issue on genre fiction and poetry (and nonfiction about genre fiction and poetry) are now due by midnight on March 15, 2023.

When we set the original Feb. 1 deadline for the submissions, we didn’t know that the conference would be held as early in the year as it is.

If you have a piece ready to submit, go ahead and submit it now as we will be reading submissions as they come in. But if you need to polish yours up a bit, feel free to submit any time between now and the March 15 deadline.
