Those talented, creative, and clever sisters have been in the kitchen again, and have given us a new and beautifully photographed cookbook full of quick and easy, but very tasty dishes. Their goal is to get busy Moms, wives, and women, (and men), out of the kitchen sooner so they can spend more time creating memories with their families. They have also sought to help home cooks with a myriad of ideas and recipes for those who dread that often asked question, “what’s for dinner?”

I love the seven categories of recipes within the book. These sections include: 30 Minutes or Less, 5 Ingredients or Less, Pantry Favorites, Slow Cooker Meals, Freezer Meals, One Pan, One Pot Meals, and Casseroles.

The very first recipe in the book is an indication of the clever and practical recipes that are fun to try. This recipe is titled Chicken Cordon Bleu French Bread Pizza, and ingeniously uses French bread, a jar of alfredo sauce, frozen crispy chicken strips that you have cooked and diced, mozzarella and Swiss cheeses, bacon bits and green onions and seasonings. I tried this fun recipe and it is GOOD! This keeper is from the chapter titled 30 Minutes or Less. The quick prep tip at the bottom of the page suggests using precooked bacon, and and packaged ham.

The recipe for Sweet and Tangy Meatballs in the 5 Ingredients or Less chapter lists just 4 ingredients: a bag of frozen meatballs, a jar of grape jelly, a jar of chili sauce, and, optionally, some cooked rice. The tips include placing the meatballs in a freezer Zip Lock bag along with the other ingredients (except the rice). You can then freeze this and thaw overnight in the refrigerator and place in a crockpot to heat through. How simple is that?

Every single recipe includes a large and full color photograph of the finished dish. These are all main dish recipes, and the simple directions, included tips, and the mouthwatering recipes, and equally mouthwatering photos, have even me-a long time fish-hater, seriously considering trying a fish dish or two!

There are even two indexes in the back: a recipe index and a category index which simplifies finding what you want to make.

You will want to keep this newest Six Sisters Cookbook in mind for your Christmas gift list this year. Not only is it perfect for the man or woman who loves to cook, it is an excellent choice for those who
need to prepare meals for their family, but don’t love the process. Think of this cookbook for weddings, co -workers, hostess gifts, loved ones, etc. I think you get the idea!

You can’t go wrong with this beautiful new Cookbook from the Six Sisters! I highly recommend it!
